Get in Good Grant Shape: Florida
The 2022 Hurricane Sally and 2022 U&CF grants are closed, but now is a perfect time to review the state grant landscape and begin preparing your projects and developing your story for 2023.

This webinar is for Florida urban forestry programs that want to take greater advantage of state grant opportunities. Co-hosted by PlanIT Geo and Florida Urban Forestry Council, Alex Hancock and Rachel Ormseth will be joined by John Harris from Earth Advisors and Will Liner from Florida Forest Service to explore the grant application process and provide insights on what funding is on the horizon, including Managing Community Forests Grants and Forest Action Plan Implementation Grants. Attendees will get a breakdown of how to submit a competitive project and highlights from proposals that were successful in the past. Additional information includes a discussion of impacts thanks to a major increase in federal grant funding, potential Hurricane Ian grants, and downloadable resources on diverse funding sources.
